The audience was convinced that Anibal Urti's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elvio Rivero was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. In the 35th minute, Ciro Aztore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 46 minutes into the match, Candioti AFC's Iker Jaunti sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Elvio Rivero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anibal Urti stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Iker Jaunti scored 2-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elvio Rivero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Victor Bibiano was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 59 minutes had been played. Arnoldo Firmo charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arnoldo Firmo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Elvio Rivero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iker Jaunti, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Iker Jaunti might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elvio Rivero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Iker Jaunti ran back to his position shaking his head. Adrian Jaunti kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. In the 83rd minute of the match Leonardo Handi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elvio Rivero skillfully saved the ball. Anibal Urti succeeded in the game's 87th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iker Jaunti in the 91st minute of play forced METALEROS DE CORDOBA's goalkeeper Elvio Rivero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 95 minutes into the match, METALEROS DE CORDOBA's goal looked a bit too open when Iker Jaunti came free, but Elvio Rivero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Candioti AFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
