After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Sixto Lidon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ticos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sixto Lidon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eulalio Chucho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Antonio Caitano hit a great ball. Roque Onbera was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 47th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sixto Lidon to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes Sampacho's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Roque Onbera who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Roque Onbera almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sampacho's Eulalio Chucho did a great save. The crowd rose to their feet as Ticos FC's Ramon Baraquiel slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eulalio Chucho. That made the score 0-2 after 57 minutes of play. After 61 minutes of play, Ticos FC's Denis Frantzes made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eulalio Chucho was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 66 minutes, Ramon Baraquiel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ticos FC and the Sampacho players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 66 played minutes Ticos FC got a freekick which was hit by Ramon Baraquiel. Sixto Lidon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eulalio Chucho having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Sixto Lidon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Evelio Jakobe during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Ticos FC's Leandro Tohias got a free kick in the 89th minute. 92 minutes into the match, Ticos FC's Denis Frantzes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eulalio Chucho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sixto Lidon was extremely unlucky when he, in the 94th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out.
