After 3 played minutes Achuppallas AFC got a freekick which was hit by Bonifacio Orlandus. Mati y Luli's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Erubiel Hever in the 6th minute. Erubiel Hever made a great header on Mati y Luli's corner, it was just that Achuppallas AFC's Godfredo Pirmin managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amador Ramone in the 8th minute of play forced Mati y Luli's goalkeeper Alvaro Oso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Mati y Luli's goal looked a bit too open when Amador Ramone came free, but Alvaro Oso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th minute Cipriano Ponc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Godfredo Pirmin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 14 minutes, Bonifacio Orlandus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Achuppallas AFC and the Mati y Luli players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 14th minute, Bonifacio Orlandus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ariel Gamus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godfredo Pirmin having to interfere. Godfredo Pirmin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cipriano Ponc in the 23rd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erubiel Hever during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Aurelio Mercurio shot the penalty kick right outside the post. In the 31st minute of the match Danilo Baraquiel sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alvaro Oso skillfully saved the ball. Bruno Sidro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alvaro Oso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. When Cipriano Ponc came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Mati y Luli fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cipriano Ponc couldn't finish the play. Ariel Gamus who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 48thth minute tested the skills of Godfredo Pirmin when he managed to save the team from getting behind.

With an all-out effort, Achuppallas AFC's Alvaro Oso threw himself towards the right post 60 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Amador Ramone, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cipriano Ponc in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Godfredo Pirmin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bruno Sidro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Oso having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Mati y Luli's zone, Bruno Sidro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alvaro Oso came out of the goal and Bruno Sidro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 78 minutes into the game, Fermin Ovando was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Achuppallas AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mati y Luli the free kick. In the 78th minute, Fermin Ovando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Godfredo Pirmin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cipriano Ponc in the 79th minute of the match. Freddy Fidencio's late challenge caught a Achuppallas AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Freddy Fidencio helped the player get up and apologised. After 85 played minutes Mati y Luli got a freekick which was hit by Freddy Fidencio. A hard shot 87 in the game by Bruno Sidro from a close distance when the talented Alvaro Oso managed to make a qualified save. Mati y Luli's players were relieved. Cipriano Ponc recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
