Marcelo Gar ran back to his position shaking his head. Marcelo Gar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcelo Gar made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 26thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Luciano Distiratsu would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Jimeno Eztebe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luciano Distiratsu having to interfere. After 33 played minutes El Teclado FC got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Ofelio. After a defensive mix-up in El Teclado FC's zone, Jimeno Eztebe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luciano Distiratsu came out of the goal and Jimeno Eztebe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Marcelo Gar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jimeno Eztebe in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luciano Distiratsu saved El Teclado FC from getting behind. When the match clock showed 45 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Celso Guter sped through Popoy AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tobias Vigil. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jimeno Eztebe to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Jimeno Eztebe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Popoy AFC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Cleto Fonda hit a great ball. Jimeno Eztebe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luciano Distiratsu having to interfere. When Popoy AFC's Marcelo Gar in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Leonides Ordono's late challenge caught a El Teclado FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leonides Ordono helped the player get up and apologised. Leonides Ordono hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute Marcelo Gar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luciano Distiratsu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. El Teclado FC's Luciano Distiratsu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Gar in the 89th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jimeno Eztebe in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luciano Distiratsu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 93rd minute Jimeno Eztebe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luciano Distiratsu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luciano Distiratsu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonides Ordono in the 96th minute of the match.
