In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Crosmayo FC's goalkeeper Eduardo Salomone, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cesar Nevada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Salomone having to interfere. Elpidio Ricart fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fermin Mikolas having to interfere. After having played for 34 minutes, Zeledon Pelayo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Elpidio Ricart fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fermin Mikolas having to interfere. Zeledon Pelayo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Zeledon Pelayo made the kick off in the second half. Gervasio Toro struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Eduardo Salomone didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Recreo. Aquiles Dalmau kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Gervasio Toro's late challenge caught a Crosmayo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gervasio Toro helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Recreo getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Gervasio Toro hit a great ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Recreo fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 61st minute. Penalty! The referee gave Crosmayo FC a penalty, 63 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Benedicto Txilar, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Recreo's Fermin Mikolas. 1-1. Zeledon Pelayo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Fermin Mikolas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gervasio Toro struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Eduardo Salomone didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Recreo. In the 87th minute, Cesar Nevada got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gervasio Toro was shown his second yellow card after 96 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 96th match minute, Recreo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gervasio Toro to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Recreo's Fermin Mikolas got control of the ball when Elpidio Ricart tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 100 minutes Recreo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Benedicto Txilar who took care of the corner kick. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Crosmayo FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
