Clemente Otoniel hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Carrilobo's Teodoro Acuña got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 12th minute of the match Silvano Afonso shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luciano Ostadar showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Paso's Astor Marz got a free kick in the 13th minute. Ernesto Urtun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fulgencio Gaztea's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. After some careless play in the Carrilobo defense, Ciriaco Galindo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ernesto Urtun. The Carrilobo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ernesto Urtun should have stopped the shot. Teodoro Acuña sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julian Gonchan charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Julian Gonchan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Carrilobo getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Julian Gonchan hit a great ball. Ciro Fresco succeeded in the game's 31st minute to get real power on a long shot . Carrilobo's Ernesto Urtun hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 0-2! 35 minutes into the match, Carrilobo's goal looked a bit too open when Fulgencio Gaztea came free, but Ernesto Urtun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fulgencio Gaztea in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ernesto Urtun saved Carrilobo from getting behind. Paso's Jose Esiquio got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Carrilobo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Paso were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fulgencio Gaztea stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Carrilobo's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Fulgencio Gaztea fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Carrilobo's zone, Fulgencio Gaztea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernesto Urtun came out of the goal and Fulgencio Gaztea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jose Esiquio's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 70thth minute, Ernesto Urtun skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Luciano Ostadar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodoro Acuña, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Jose Esiquio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 79 minutes, Edgardo Ishmael managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carrilobo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgardo Ishmael was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Paso's Clemente Otoniel got a free kick in the 80th minute. After 83 played minutes Paso got a freekick which was hit by Baldomiro Birjaio. Luciano Ostadar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodoro Acuña in the 86th minute of the match. Jose Esiquio struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Ernesto Urtun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paso. Paso's Fulgencio Gaztea got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 93rd minute, Astor Marz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paso's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
