Americo Richie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvestre Otsando in the 10th minute of play. 11 minutes into the game, Argüello FC's Benjamin Illan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Americo Richie made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After 15 played minutes Argüello FC got a freekick which was hit by Christian Eneas. Argüello FC's Cesar Millan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fulgencio Frasquito in the 16th minute of play. Joel Santos scored 1-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cesar Millan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benjamin Illan got free with Americo Richie in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cesar Millan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Santos in the 28th minute of play. Americo Richie made an important save on a dangerous shot by Inocencio Obano in the 30th minute. Benjamin Illan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Americo Richie having to interfere. When Silvestre Otsando came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Argüello FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silvestre Otsando couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joel Santos in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cesar Millan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 45 minutes, Inocencio Obano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Argüello FC and the Huanguelén players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Argüello FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Inocencio Obano hit a great ball. Fulgencio Frasquito might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cesar Millan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fulgencio Frasquito ran back to his position shaking his head. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Joel Santos made the kick off in the second half. Joel Santos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cesar Millan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Americo Richie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvestre Otsando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Argüello FC's Cesar Millan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Argüello FC from getting a goal against them. Americo Richie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin Illan, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Huanguelén's Americo Richie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvestre Otsando in the 76th minute of play.
