If Marcelino Abajas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute, Marcelino Abajas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ulises Jayvier was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Ulises Jayvier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Rico in the 27th minute of the match. Marcelino Estefan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luisito Sendoa, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Guaberto Llanos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelino Estefan having to interfere. Ulises Jayvier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Rico in the 35th minute of the match. Justino Berriotxoa kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Marcelino Abajas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Guaberto Llanos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Luisito Sendoa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Marcelino Estefan made a huge save. For all the effort they put into the match, the Jaguares de Guadalupe AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense.
