The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Huanqueros AFC's Elpidio Betadur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Esdras in the 6th minute of play. 8 minutes in the game, Antonio Estebano fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Elpidio Betadur having to interfere. Primitivo Guillerme blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fausto Chan having to make a save. If Nicanor Behe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Augusto Joey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Chan having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Primitivo Guillerme in the 23rd minute of play forced Cervezero FC's goalkeeper Fausto Chan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the game, Ivan Baraquiel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cervezero FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Huanqueros AFC the free kick. Fausto Chan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Joey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Huanqueros AFC's Elpidio Betadur proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Huanqueros AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 36th minute Antonio Estebano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elpidio Betadur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicanor Behe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Antonio Estebano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Estebano in the 45th minute of play forced Huanqueros AFC's goalkeeper Elpidio Betadur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antonio Estebano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Antonio Estebano made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antonio Estebano in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elpidio Betadur saved Huanqueros AFC from getting behind. Nicanor Behe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antonio Estebano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elpidio Betadur read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. In the 74th minute Nicanor Behe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elpidio Betadur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th minute, Nicanor Behe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elpidio Betadur was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. A collision led to Cervezero FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Adan Domiku hit a great ball. In the 90th minute Primitivo Guillerme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto Chan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Augusto Joey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Fausto Chan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, Huanqueros AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Estebano came free, but Elpidio Betadur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
