Raquel AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Morón the free kick. Everardo Hever hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Flavio Rexino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Morón's supporters rose to their feet, but Flavio Rexino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Honorio Horado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Ceferino Etxatxu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 11th minute, Evaristo Goizeder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpected shot in the 13th minute by Elpidio Ferrer got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 15 minutes into the match, Morón's goal looked a bit too open when Ceferino Etxatxu came free, but Leopoldo Txartiko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elpidio Ferrer got free with Leopoldo Txartiko in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Elpidio Ferrer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Morón's Leopoldo Txartiko got control of the ball when Elpidio Ferrer tried to sneak it across the goal line. Honorio Horado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Flavio Rexino went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 30th match minute, Morón was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fulgencio Tabby to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th minute Raquel AFC were awarded a corner. Bernardo Chucho went to the cornerflag to take it. Raquel AFC's Honorio Horado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavio Rexino in the 38th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Flavio Rexino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Morón's supporters rose to their feet, but Flavio Rexino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Honorio Horado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half Morón were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ceferino Etxatxu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Leopoldo Txartiko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elpidio Ferrer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Morón's Fabian Rioja got a free kick in the 61st minute. With a little luck, Raquel AFC's Honorio Horado got control of the ball when Flavio Rexino tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 69 played minutes Morón got a freekick which was hit by Fulgencio Tabby. In the 72nd minute, Morón's Juan Edwardo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Everardo Hever in the 79th minute of play forced Morón's goalkeeper Leopoldo Txartiko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ceferino Etxatxu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Morón's Juan Edwardo got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Raquel AFC's Honorio Horado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Edwardo in the 85th minute of play. During the 86th minute of the match Everardo Hever completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Everardo Hever a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Morón booed when Raquel AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Everardo Hever didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Raquel AFC's zone, Flavio Rexino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Honorio Horado came out of the goal and Flavio Rexino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
