After a defensive mix-up in Silípica FC's zone, Jaime Mogel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Freddy Pacorro came out of the goal and Jaime Mogel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jaime Mogel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Romeo Fonso was the one to do the kick off. After 53 played minutes Defensores de frontera got a freekick which was hit by Luciano Veronica. In the 53rd minute of the match Teodoro Hitz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hermengildo Cresenciano showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Luciano Veronica hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Romeo Fonso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. After having played for 87 minutes, Teo Beltxe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Defensores de frontera's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teo Beltxe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Freddy Pacorro was a little too slow when Jaime Mogel got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 88th minute. The score was now 0-5. Defensores de frontera's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
