Artemio Abella received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Gaston Onbera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lorenzo Perez in the 20th minute of play forced Mecoyita FC's goalkeeper Cristian Franco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilfredo Gonsalvo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Cristian Franco made a huge save. If Lorenzo Perez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Artemio Abella received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Gaston Onbera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anier Licerio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th minute, Artemio Abella got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wilfredo Gonsalvo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Artemio Abella scored 0-2 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gaston Onbera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Cristian Franco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Urre, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Artemio Abella recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Anier Licerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. C.A. Bariloche 14's Gaston Onbera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save C.A. Bariloche 14 from getting a goal against them. Gaston Onbera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artemio Abella in the 67th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Mecoyita FC's Anier Licerio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gaston Onbera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Everardo Jokin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristian Franco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Gaston Onbera was out of position in the 86 minute of play, and Anier Licerio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Anier Licerio really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Mecoyita FC's goalkeeper Cristian Franco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Anier Licerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
