Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Rene Galo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jose Nafarroa in the 4th minute of the match. Palma AFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Jose Nafarroa 10 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. 14 minutes in the game, Jose Nafarroa fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Rene Galo having to interfere. After 16 minutes, Paolo Rius mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mascasín and the Palma AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Mascasín's Paolo Rius got a free kick in the 16th minute. In the 17th match minute, Mascasín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sixto Montay to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Octavio Weather managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mascasín's supporters rose to their feet, but Octavio Weather was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rene Galo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Octavio Weather could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Rene Galo made a huge save. Palma AFC's Rene Galo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jose Nafarroa in the 32nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jose Nafarroa in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rene Galo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Jose Nafarroa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rene Galo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose Nafarroa in the 44th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victorino Mendez in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luisito Loi saved Mascasín from getting behind. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jose Nafarroa to make the kick off. Paolo Rius got his second yellow card in the match during the 54th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Palma AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mascasín the free kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jose Nafarroa during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Octavio Weather had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mascasín's Sixto Montay got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Mascasín getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Jose Nafarroa hit a great ball. In the 95th minute Octavio Weather shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Galo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
