Vladimiro Toli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Gerardo Fresco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atilano Montay in the 57th minute of play. Adrian Abastas charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adrian Abastas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Vladimiro Toli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Claris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Julian Claris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 95 minutes into the match, Standard Liege II's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Claris came free, but Vladimiro Toli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vladimiro Toli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Claris in the 97th minute of play. After 100 minutes, Gavino Remir made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side.
