Severino Jurdan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Romildo having to interfere. Severino Jurdan struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Tobias Romildo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Monroe. 19 minutes into the match, Monroe's goal looked a bit too open when Teobaldo Liher came free, but Eloy Luix reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute, Severino Jurdan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 34th minute Fabricio Laurendi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eloy Luix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacobo Vedillo in the 37th minute of play forced Malanzán's goalkeeper Tobias Romildo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Severino Jurdan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Romildo having to interfere. In the 48th minute Fabricio Laurendi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eloy Luix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eloy Luix made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabricio Laurendi in the 62nd minute of play. Severino Jurdan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tobias Romildo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Teobaldo Liher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Monroe's Benicio Urtzi got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Teobaldo Liher who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 86thth minute tested the skills of Eloy Luix when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Monroe had won after a very even match.
