If Delmiro Sal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Millonarios FC fans' excitement grew in the 6th match minute when Millonarios FC's Delmiro Sal looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Millonarios FC's Lucas Pio in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vinará AFC's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Vinará AFC's zone, Delmiro Sal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ruben Pereyra came out of the goal and Delmiro Sal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Vinará AFC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Leonardo Gamus hit a great ball. Vinará AFC's Ruben Pereyra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Vinará AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 23rd minute Lucas Pio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruben Pereyra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eloy Salvator's late challenge caught a Millonarios FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eloy Salvator helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Vinará AFC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Eloy Salvator hit a great ball. In the 36th minute Lucas Pio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruben Pereyra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucas Pio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruben Pereyra having to interfere. 40 minutes into the match, Vinará AFC's goalkeeper Ruben Pereyra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Delmiro Sal. With his leg Ruben Pereyra managed to avoid a goal in the 43rdth minute, when Millonarios FC's Delmiro Sal fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Lucas Pio was extremely unlucky when he, in the 45th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. When the match clock showed 45 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Delmiro Sal sped through Vinará AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ruben Pereyra.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lucas Pio to make the kick off. Vinará AFC's Ruben Pereyra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmiro Sal in the 53rd minute of play. Delmiro Sal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Ruben Pereyra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucas Pio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ruben Pereyra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Pio, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 60th minute, Delmiro Sal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ruben Pereyra was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. 4-0 became the score in the 65th minute when Lucas Pio elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Victoriano Bernabel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruben Pereyra having to interfere. The supporters of Millonarios FC booed when Vinará AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eloy Salvator didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Delmiro Sal put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ruben Pereyra. Lucas Pio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruben Pereyra having to interfere. 6-0 became the score in the 80th minute when Lucas Pio elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Eloy Salvator kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Millonarios FC's Astor Enol got a free kick in the 85th minute. Ruben Pereyra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Pio, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Pio in the 93rd minute of play forced Vinará AFC's goalkeeper Ruben Pereyra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 95 minutes into the game, Lucas Pio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Ruben Pereyra was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
