Julio Arias stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cayetano Medardo's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Bonifacio Txeru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anier Nardo having to interfere. In the 19th match minute, Cerritos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delmar Tano to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 20 minutes, Jesus Flor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pachimoco FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jesus Flor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cerritos's Anier Nardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jesus Flor in the 22nd minute of play. Bonifacio Txeru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Anier Nardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jesus Flor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Albino Refugio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anier Nardo having to interfere. 31 minutes into the game, Bonifacio Txeru cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Anier Nardo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ladislao Ikatz scored 1-1 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Arias, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Julio Arias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cayetano Medardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After having played for 43 minutes, Jesus Flor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pachimoco FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jesus Flor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Delmar Tano hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bonifacio Txeru was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ladislao Ikatz in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Arias saved Pachimoco FC from getting behind. If Jesus Flor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The attack was good, but when Cayetano Medardo in the 62nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After a rather tough play, Cerritos's Anacleto Chuan got a free kick in the 68th minute. Jesus Flor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Anier Nardo made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bonifacio Txeru in the 78th minute of play forced Cerritos's goalkeeper Anier Nardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Cerritos's zone, Ulises Gagriel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anier Nardo came out of the goal and Ulises Gagriel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Cerritos's Anier Nardo got control of the ball when Jesus Flor tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 94 minutes, Jesus Flor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pachimoco FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jesus Flor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jesus Flor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Pachimoco FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
