An unexpectedly hard shot by Issac Dawson in the 3rd minute of play forced Vancouver Whitecaps's goalkeeper 김 황 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 5 minutes into the match, Kyle Cox had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of 김 황. Vancouver Whitecaps's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kyle Cox was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Issac Dawson scored 0-2 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of 김 황, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Khalid Kennedy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 김 최 in the 11th minute of play. Vancouver Whitecaps were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after England's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. 김 최 took the corner. Vancouver Whitecaps's 김 최 was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Khalid Kennedy in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 김 황 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kyle Cox in the 13th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, England's goal looked a bit too open when 이 하 came free, but Khalid Kennedy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kyle Cox received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. 김 황 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when 이 하 got free with Khalid Kennedy in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 32 minutes into the game, Issac Dawson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. 김 황 was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 김 황 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kyle Cox in the 35th minute of the match. 김 황 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xavier Gallagher in the 42nd minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kyle Cox was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Vancouver Whitecaps's 김 황 got control of the ball when Issac Dawson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vancouver Whitecaps's 김 황 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Vancouver Whitecaps from getting a goal against them. In the 68th minute Caelan Hayes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 김 황 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Xavier Gallagher came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the England fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xavier Gallagher couldn't finish the play. In the 75th minute of the match, Issac Dawson got a very nice opportunity to score, but 김 황 was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 76 played minutes England got a freekick which was hit by Micah Macdonald. 김 황 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kyle Cox in the 79th minute of play. The supporters of England booed when Vancouver Whitecaps was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. 김 후 didn't get a good kick on the ball. 82 minutes into the game, Vancouver Whitecaps's 김 최 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Khalid Kennedy made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. England's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
