Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Racing Club's Herminio Tohias started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 4th minute of the game. When the match had been going on for 6 minutes, Echagüe's Nunez Urti got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Aristides Erroman. After 9 played minutes Racing Club got a freekick which was hit by Herminio Tohias. After a rather tough play, Racing Club's Venancio Lastur got a free kick in the 12th minute. After 12 played minutes Nunez Urti scored with a long sweeping shot just to the left of Aristides Erroman who was too lazy, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herminio Tohias in the 16th minute of play forced Echagüe's goalkeeper Jimeno Guerau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teo Artal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Aristides Erroman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Racing Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Ovidio Erasto hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

The wind increased when Teo Artal made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Racing Club's zone, Ovidio Erasto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aristides Erroman came out of the goal and Ovidio Erasto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teo Artal in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aristides Erroman saved Racing Club from getting behind. Fabio Bernard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Aristides Erroman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
