Vladimiro Sidro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Playo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 17 minutes of play, Berretawers's Niceto Gudesteo made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vladimiro Sidro was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benicio Christobal in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Martin Quirce saved Berretawers from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ramon Gabirel got free with Vladimiro Sidro in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ramon Gabirel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Rodrigo Playo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martin Quirce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Siro Balasi in the 38th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Berretawers's zone, Benicio Christobal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martin Quirce came out of the goal and Benicio Christobal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ramon Gabirel got free with Vladimiro Sidro in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Lopiara booed when Berretawers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramon Gabirel didn't get a good kick on the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Lopiara fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 48th minute. Penalty!

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rodrigo Playo to make the kick off. Siro Balasi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 63rdth minute, Martin Quirce skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 70 minutes into the game, Jimeno Faron was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lopiara's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Berretawers the free kick. A collision led to Lopiara getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Jimeno Faron hit a great ball. Rodrigo Playo spun around in front of the goal 72 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Lopiara's goal. With his leg Martin Quirce managed to avoid a goal in the 75thth minute, when Lopiara's Siro Balasi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Rodrigo Playo came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Berretawers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodrigo Playo couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Berretawers's zone, Siro Balasi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martin Quirce came out of the goal and Siro Balasi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lopiara's Carolo Tohias got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vladimiro Sidro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Playo, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Jimeno Faron hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Lopiara's Americo Suarez got a free kick in the 97th minute. Rodrigo Playo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vladimiro Sidro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 98th minute of play. Siro Balasi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 99th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Berretawers's Antonio Leobardo got a free kick in the 100th minute.
