Spectators: 7274 (Terracing: 5457, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Leandro Dominix started the match with the kick off. Jonas Chayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliberto Kelemen in the 6th minute of play. When Dionisio Eriz fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Deportivo Urquiza's protests and gave Dionisio Eriz a yellow card for diving instead. When Potrero AFC's Elpidio Elazar in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Club Deportivo Urquiza's goalie prevented a goal. Elpidio Elazar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonas Chayo having to make a save. Leandro Dominix really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. If Elpidio Elazar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Elpidio Elazar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Chayo having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Jose Veto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elpidio Elazar made a kick off. Ramon Tino's late challenge caught a Potrero AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ramon Tino helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Club Deportivo Urquiza getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Ramon Tino hit a great ball. Jonas Chayo was out of position in the 53 minute of play, and Elpidio Elazar capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Elpidio Elazar really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Jonas Chayo made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Bernardino Seme sent off a good shot on target. Club Deportivo Urquiza's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Elpidio Elazar 60 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-3. Elpidio Elazar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Jonas Chayo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Bernardino Seme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonas Chayo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elpidio Elazar in the 69th minute of the match. After having played for 72 minutes, Elpidio Elazar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Potrero AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elpidio Elazar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elpidio Elazar in the 76th minute of play forced Club Deportivo Urquiza's goalkeeper Jonas Chayo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leandro Dominix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Club Deportivo Urquiza's Jonas Chayo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Club Deportivo Urquiza from getting a goal against them. After 79 played minutes Club Deportivo Urquiza got a freekick which was hit by Saverio Formerio. Jonas Chayo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernardino Seme in the 82nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Dominix in the 87th minute of play forced Potrero AFC's goalkeeper Natalio Daunte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Armando Erasto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Natalio Daunte read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. With a little luck, Club Deportivo Urquiza's Jonas Chayo got control of the ball when Alvaro Napier tried to sneak it across the goal line. Potrero AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
