Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Siro Laurgain took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 13th minute Prudencio Uxio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damian Abad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leo Macias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Siro Laurgain kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benedicto Alfonso. That made the score 1-0 in the 19 minute of play. Benedicto Alfonso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Siro Laurgain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 26 minutes into the match, Chelcos's goal looked a bit too open when Siro Laurgain came free, but Benedicto Alfonso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leo Macias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chelcos's Alejandro Eriz couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 30th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Lagunillas. After a rather tough play, Lagunillas's Eusebio Fidele got a free kick in the 31st minute. 32 minutes into the match, Alejandro Eriz notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Lagunillas's Damian Abad. Damian Abad was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Leo Macias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Benedicto Alfonso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Chelcos's zone, Siro Laurgain stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benedicto Alfonso came out of the goal and Siro Laurgain tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Prudencio Uxio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chelcos's Prudencio Uxio got a good chance for a goal in the 49th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Evaristo Rudolfo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Arnulfo Iraunkor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chelcos's Benedicto Alfonso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Siro Laurgain in the 61st minute of play. Leo Macias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedicto Alfonso having to interfere. 66 minutes into the game, Lagunillas's Siro Laurgain nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benedicto Alfonso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Siro Laurgain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedicto Alfonso having to interfere. A collision led to Lagunillas getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Christian Gimenez hit a great ball. Siro Laurgain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Leo Macias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96thth minute of the game Evaristo Rudolfo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lagunillas's Damian Abad was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. There was no doubt that Lagunillas were the better team. Lagunillas's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
