The supporters of Malbrán booed when Celeste Rugby Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Sabin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18thth minute of the game Basilio Maties who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Celeste Rugby Club's Cristobal Javiero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Astor Mitxel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Malbrán's Romulo Quintun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Malbrán from getting a goal against them. Wilfredo Bittor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristobal Javiero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Cristobal Javiero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilfredo Bittor in the 28th minute of the match. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Astor Mitxel made a kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Celeste Rugby Club's goalkeeper Cristobal Javiero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wilfredo Bittor. Cristobal Javiero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basilio Maties in the 58th minute of the match. With a little luck, Celeste Rugby Club's Cristobal Javiero got control of the ball when Wilfredo Bittor tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wilfredo Bittor was extremely unlucky when he, in the 62nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Romulo Quintun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Astor Mitxel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 63 minutes of play, Celeste Rugby Club's Astor Mitxel made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Romulo Quintun was left in no man's land by his defense there! Benito Haritzeder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Romulo Quintun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Malbrán's Basilio Maties slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cristobal Javiero. That made the score 1-4 after 69 minutes of play. In the 71st match minute, Malbrán was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faustino Dalmau to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Astor Mitxel in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Romulo Quintun saved Malbrán from getting behind. In the 73rd minute, Faustino Dalmau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Celeste Rugby Club's Cristobal Javiero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basilio Maties in the 76th minute of play. When Teobaldo Mancio fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Malbrán's protests and gave Teobaldo Mancio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 79th minute, Teobaldo Mancio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Wilfredo Bittor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute Basilio Maties shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristobal Javiero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Romulo Quintun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Astor Mitxel, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute.
