If Ciro Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Albino Figueroa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rene Osoro having to make a save. When Prospero Berdaitz fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arano's protests and gave Prospero Berdaitz a yellow card for diving instead. After 27 played minutes Arano got a freekick which was hit by Prospero Berdaitz. The long shot by Herminio Victoro in the 28th minute really tested Rene Osoro's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 32nd minute, Alfredo Piearres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Zaparinqui FC's Segundo Remigio got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Basilio Incendio, 39 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The Zaparinqui FC fans' excitement grew in the 41st match minute when Zaparinqui FC's Albino Figueroa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Ciro Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ramon Romelio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ciro Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 54th play minutes Ramon Romelio shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Raul Neron and just under the crossbar into goal. Raul Neron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramon Romelio in the 60th minute of play. The supporters of Zaparinqui FC booed when Arano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prospero Berdaitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Albino Figueroa might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rene Osoro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Albino Figueroa ran back to his position shaking his head. If Ciro Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raul Neron showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramon Romelio, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Ramon Romelio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In a very dangerous position, a player in Zaparinqui FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 73rd minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Raul Neron, was totally fooled by Arano's Benedicto Gaitano, who 75 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 83rd match minute, Zaparinqui FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Segundo Remigio to maneuver through the defense. If Alfredo Piearres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Zaparinqui FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Justino Iraunkor hit a great ball. Alfredo Piearres in the 89thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Raul Neron, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Zaparinqui FC's Raul Neron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramon Romelio in the 90th minute of play. Ciro Cruz took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rene Osoro. Rene Osoro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. After 97 played minutes Ramon Romelio rounded Zaparinqui FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-3.
