After a defensive mix-up in Anguilan AFC's zone, Juan Bidun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacinto Deunoro came out of the goal and Juan Bidun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Francisco Lore kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. In the 14th match minute, Victoria AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mario Bizen to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aquiles Salvadore during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Anguilan AFC's Aquiles Salvadore got a free kick in the 16th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Santos Jax sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Jacinto Deunoro threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Santos Jax this time. Filomeno Guzman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicanor Beltran in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 23rd minute Nicanor Beltran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filomeno Guzman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicanor Beltran in the 25th minute of play forced Victoria AFC's goalkeeper Filomeno Guzman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Angel Vellito's late challenge caught a Victoria AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angel Vellito helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Victoria AFC booed when Anguilan AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angel Vellito didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gonzalo Loreto shot from long distance in the 31st minute, but Jacinto Deunoro was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Anguilan AFC's Jacinto Deunoro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Anguilan AFC from getting a goal against them. Juan Bidun's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 34thth minute, Jacinto Deunoro skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Bizen in the 37th minute of play forced Anguilan AFC's goalkeeper Jacinto Deunoro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacinto Deunoro made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Juan Bidun sent off a good shot on target. Juan Bidun in the 41stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jacinto Deunoro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Victoria AFC's Teofilo Mikelats suffered a sore thigh after 41 minutes and couldn't finish the game. During the 42nd minute of the match Aquiles Salvadore completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Aquiles Salvadore a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Aquiles Salvadore kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Juan Bidun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Jacinto Deunoro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nicanor Beltran to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Juan Bidun in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacinto Deunoro saved Anguilan AFC from getting behind. Jacinto Deunoro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eulalio Giraldo in the 83rd minute of play. Victoria AFC's Juan Bidun got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anier Bizi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Deunoro having to interfere. Juan Bidun struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Jacinto Deunoro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Victoria AFC. Nicanor Beltran might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Filomeno Guzman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nicanor Beltran ran back to his position shaking his head.
