Dante Erramu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anacleto Maurin in the 12th minute of the match. Albano Estevez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benito Nicholas in the 18th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling German Elorri in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Erramu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Bernardo Lopez fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barrancas's protests and gave Bernardo Lopez a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Barrancas getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Bernardo Lopez hit a great ball. Olimpus olp's Anacleto Maurin got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Olimpus olp booed when Barrancas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ubaldo Tonio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Barrancas defense, German Elorri kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dante Erramu. The Barrancas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante Erramu should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers German Elorri in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Erramu saved Barrancas from getting behind. Albano Estevez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florentino Ricart in the 42nd minute of the match. A collision led to Olimpus olp getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Fulgencio Oskitz hit a great ball. Anacleto Maurin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Dante Erramu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Olimpus olp were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Florentino Ricart was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Felix Theodore was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Olimpus olp's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barrancas the free kick. In the 73rd match minute, Barrancas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amadeo Gitano to maneuver through the defense. Olimpus olp were awarded a corner in the 76th minute after Barrancas's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Pastor Oroitz took the corner. In the 78th minute, Anacleto Maurin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sixto Pueblo hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Pastor Oroitz shot from long distance in the 86th minute, but Dante Erramu was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Olimpus olp walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
