Simon Fidele, 25 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Joel Savion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Segundo Isaio in the 27th minute of play. Torino FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Simon Fidele in the 29th minute. The corner ended in Simon Fidele almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Vieytes's Joel Savion did a great save. Atilano Abreu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Arturo Timo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristo Lalla kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. In the 37th minute of the match, Segundo Isaio tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Joel Savion saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Segundo Isaio to make the kick off. Vieytes's Joel Savion played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Segundo Isaio in the 51st minute of play. When Segundo Isaio came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Torino FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Segundo Isaio couldn't finish the play. Joel Savion showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Santos in the 63rd minute of the match. Horacio Ereinotz hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Atilano Abreu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd match minute, Torino FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erasmo Felipo to maneuver through the defense. Arturo Timo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Atilano Abreu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Torino FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
