Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Oriente AFC's Gavino Venceslao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Mikelats in the 3rd minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, Oriente AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Atilano Abreu came free, but Gavino Venceslao reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Oriente AFC booed when Vieytes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Gai didn't get a good kick on the ball. 13 minutes into the game, Valentin Arlo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vieytes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Oriente AFC the free kick. In the 13th minute, Valentin Arlo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Oriente AFC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Fabio Bilintx hit a great ball. In the 19th minute of the match Cristo Lalla sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gavino Venceslao skillfully saved the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emiliano Danel during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 21 played minutes Vieytes got a freekick which was hit by Emiliano Danel. The audience thought a goal was coming when Atilano Dimas got free with Joel Savion in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sixto Inguma struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Joel Savion didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oriente AFC. Sixto Inguma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sixto Inguma struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Atilano Abreu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Sixto Inguma ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joel Savion was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Joel Savion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sixto Inguma in the 58th minute of play. Augusto Mikelats fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gavino Venceslao having to interfere. Atilano Abreu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gavino Venceslao having to make a save. Sixto Inguma's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joel Savion read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Atilano Abreu in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gavino Venceslao prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Atilano Abreu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Gavino Venceslao tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Atilano Dimas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vieytes's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
