Spectators: 6663 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Emilio Blai started the match with the kick off. Benedicto Elorri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Bilintx in the 4th minute of the match. Emilio Blai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Florencio Endira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Shaqui booed when Portalis AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Cordarrel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 10 minutes of play, Shaqui's Roque Cordeara made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Florencio Endira was left in no man's land by his defense there! 15 minutes into the game, Portalis AFC's Pedro Bilintx nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benedicto Elorri made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 19th minute, Igor Cordarrel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roque Cordeara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Florencio Endira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ulises Eron hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After 35 played minutes Portalis AFC got a freekick which was hit by Eleuterio Transito. Roque Cordeara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Florencio Endira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Blai in the 39th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Shaqui's zone, Nicasio Poz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benedicto Elorri came out of the goal and Nicasio Poz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pedro Bilintx to strike the kick off in the second half. Pedro Bilintx received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Benedicto Elorri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Shaqui's Roque Cordeara got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicasio Poz got free with Benedicto Elorri in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pedro Bilintx received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Benedicto Elorri came out and tried to block the shot, but Pedro Bilintx slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 67th minute. When Roque Cordeara came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Shaqui fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roque Cordeara couldn't finish the play. After having played for 75 minutes, Nicasio Poz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Portalis AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicasio Poz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 77thth minute of the game Pedro Bilintx who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Shaqui's Benedicto Elorri was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Emilio Blai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Florencio Endira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st minute Roque Cordeara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florencio Endira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th minute, Igor Cordarrel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emilio Blai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florencio Endira having to interfere. If Jonas Cambranes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Portalis AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
