In the 18th match minute, Barrial was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mariano Quirce to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd minute, Albino Claris got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Albino Claris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th minute of the match, Pascual Bembe got a very nice opportunity to score, but Vladimiro Chesus was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. A collision led to Barrial getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Melquiades George hit a great ball. 47 minutes into the match, Barrial's Blas Espiridion sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jacinto Isias narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

But to his dismay, Celestino Shepherd quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Barrial's Vladimiro Chesus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celestino Shepherd in the 67th minute of play. After having played for 70 minutes, Albino Claris managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barrial's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albino Claris was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emanuel Medardo's late challenge caught a Barrial's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emanuel Medardo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 75th minute, Barrial's Albino Claris dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Celestino Shepherd struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Vladimiro Chesus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CATalleres de R.escalada. After a rather tough play, Barrial's Albino Claris got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Jacinto Isias was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Albino Claris showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 93 minute of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
