Hipolito Savion showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Genaro Gaizkine in the 6th minute of the match. Osvaldo Rozarius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blas Bittor having to interfere. In the 11th play minute Osvaldo Rozarius came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Blas Bittor. 1-0. When Independiente FC's Ceferino Igon in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dagenham & Redbridge's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, Independiente FC's Blas Bittor got control of the ball when Osvaldo Rozarius tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dagenham & Redbridge's Omar Venceslas got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Genaro Gaizkine recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 44 minutes into the match, Independiente FC's goalkeeper Blas Bittor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Osvaldo Rozarius. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Genaro Gaizkine made the kick off in the second half. When Independiente FC's Genaro Gaizkine in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dagenham & Redbridge's goalie prevented a goal. Blas Bittor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldo Rozarius in the 55th minute of play. Osvaldo Rozarius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blas Bittor having to interfere. If Osvaldo Rozarius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dagenham & Redbridge's Hipolito Savion played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Genaro Gaizkine in the 73rd minute of play. When the match clock showed 77 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Omar Venceslas sped through Independiente FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Blas Bittor. Hipolito Savion made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ceferino Igon in the 80th minute. Omar Venceslas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Blas Bittor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Blas Bittor stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Osvaldo Rozarius's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Omar Venceslas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dagenham & Redbridge's supporters rose to their feet, but Omar Venceslas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Blas Bittor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Osvaldo Rozarius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Dagenham & Redbridge players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
