After some careless play in the Mainque AFC defense, Cristo Deunoro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alejo Quin. The Mainque AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alejo Quin should have stopped the shot. Alejo Quin came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Zelaya's Nicanor Leobardo. But to his dismay, Nicanor Leobardo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 22nd minute Epifanio Javiar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alejo Quin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute, Generoso Estebe reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Maximo Ramirez. The goal made the score 1-3. Alejo Quin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicanor Leobardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Maximo Ramirez was out of position in the 31 minute of play, and Generoso Estebe capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nicanor Leobardo was the one to do the kick off.
