Spectators: 6673 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristo Tavio in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcial Froila saved Escalante AFC from getting behind. 7 minutes into the match, Escalante AFC's goalkeeper Marcial Froila had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alvaro Ortle. With a little luck, Escalante AFC's Marcial Froila got control of the ball when Alvaro Ortle tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 14th minute Fulgencio Inko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvaro Rayman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristo Tavio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Alvaro Ortle managed to get in a good position for a shot. Matansilla AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alvaro Ortle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcial Froila breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 33rdth minute of the game Fulgencio Inko who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Matansilla AFC's Alvaro Rayman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aaron Banegas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alvaro Rayman having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Matansilla AFC's Abel Qwinton got a free kick in the 37th minute. 39 minutes into the match, Aaron Banegas notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Matansilla AFC's Alvaro Rayman. Alvaro Rayman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alvaro Ortle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Marcial Froila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Escalante AFC booed when Matansilla AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvaro Ortle didn't get a good kick on the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aaron Banegas was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Escalante AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristo Tavio came free, but Marcial Froila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Escalante AFC's zone, Alvaro Ortle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcial Froila came out of the goal and Alvaro Ortle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Escalante AFC's Desiderio Machado got a free kick in the 68th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristo Tavio in the 69th minute of play forced Escalante AFC's goalkeeper Marcial Froila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alvaro Rayman was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Enrique Bernaldo. If Alvaro Ortle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcial Froila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristo Tavio, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Aaron Banegas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alvaro Rayman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fulgencio Inko in the 84th minute. The Matansilla AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Escalante AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Escalante AFC.
