In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Maravilla's goalkeeper Eusebio Eutor, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Leo Firman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manuel Katia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafin Filipo having to interfere. A collision led to Seeber FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Faustino Casomiro hit a great ball. Baltasar Tonio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute Manuel Katia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafin Filipo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Lucio Columbo fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Baltasar Tonio to strike the kick off in the second half. Eusebio Eutor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prudencio Osorio, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. After having played for 55 minutes, Leo Firman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Seeber FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leo Firman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leo Firman in the 58th minute of play forced Maravilla's goalkeeper Eusebio Eutor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulino Suero charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paulino Suero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Paulino Suero hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. The tension between the Seeber FC and the Maravilla players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Maravilla booed when Seeber FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Segundo Tino didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Seeber FC's zone, Baltasar Tonio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Serafin Filipo came out of the goal and Baltasar Tonio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baltasar Tonio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Serafin Filipo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maravilla were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Seeber FC's much stronger midfield.
