Isidro Ortzi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Reynaldo Qwinton's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Narciso Ixona managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Mandril's supporters rose to their feet, but Narciso Ixona was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isidro Ortzi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. C.A.Angeles de Wilde's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Reynaldo Qwinton 18 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reynaldo Qwinton in the 23rd minute of play forced C.A.Angeles de Wilde's goalkeeper Isidro Ortzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Agustin Obano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Fermin Sazon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 28 played minutes C.A.Angeles de Wilde got a freekick which was hit by Reynaldo Txanton. Isidro Ortzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reynaldo Qwinton in the 29th minute of play. After having played for 35 minutes, Narciso Ixona managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Mandril's supporters crossed their fingers, but Narciso Ixona was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 36th minute Reynaldo Qwinton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidro Ortzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Narciso Ixona who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 46thth minute tested the skills of Isidro Ortzi when he managed to save the team from getting behind.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Reynaldo Qwinton to strike the kick off in the second half. Isidro Ortzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reynaldo Qwinton, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Isidro Ortzi came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Real Mandril's Claudio Artizar. But to his dismay, Claudio Artizar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The supporters of C.A.Angeles de Wilde booed when Real Mandril was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Narciso Ixona didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 62 minutes of play, C.A.Angeles de Wilde's Edgardo Fraco made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fermin Sazon was left in no man's land by his defense there! Carmelo Roano kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. When Reynaldo Txanton fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.A.Angeles de Wilde's protests and gave Reynaldo Txanton a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, C.A.Angeles de Wilde's Carmelo Roano got a free kick in the 71st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Reynaldo Qwinton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Mandril's supporters rose to their feet, but Reynaldo Qwinton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 87th minute, Claudio Artizar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Tobias Pudes in the 88th minute really tested Fermin Sazon's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal.
