Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Javier Lico kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Javier Lico in the 4th minute of play forced Independencia FC's goalkeeper Haroldo Conrao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iker Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Independencia FC's zone, Javier Lico stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Haroldo Conrao came out of the goal and Javier Lico tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 9th minute, Javier Lico got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 11 minutes of play, Larligau's Ernesto Nisio made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Haroldo Conrao was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Independencia FC defense, Javier Lico kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Haroldo Conrao. The Independencia FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Haroldo Conrao should have stopped the shot. Javier Lico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Haroldo Conrao took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Javier Lico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Javier Lico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Haroldo Conrao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fidel Duarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Haroldo Conrao took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Javier Lico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 36 played minutes Independencia FC got a freekick which was hit by Lázaro Santikurtz. Ernesto Nisio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 43rd minute, Ernesto Nisio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Larligau fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. If Ernesto Nisio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Larligau were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iker Sancho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Javier Lico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haroldo Conrao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th minute Iker Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Higinio Dalmau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th match minute, Independencia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iker Sancho to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Larligau defense, Lázaro Santikurtz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Higinio Dalmau. The Larligau fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Higinio Dalmau should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Independencia FC's Iker Sancho got a free kick in the 66th minute. Independencia FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 68th minute, when Javier Lico scored to the left of an out of position Haroldo Conrao, making the score, 1-4. Javier Lico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Javier Lico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Haroldo Conrao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Javier Lico in the 78th minute of the match. Haroldo Conrao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Javier Lico in the 80th minute of play. 82 minutes into the game, Ernesto Nisio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Haroldo Conrao was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ernesto Nisio got free with Haroldo Conrao in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 87 minutes Independencia FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Salvador Etor who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Salvador Etor got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Haroldo Conrao quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Lázaro Santikurtz came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Independencia FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lázaro Santikurtz couldn't finish the play. When Javier Lico got free in front of the goal in the 93rd minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Haroldo Conrao was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Larligau walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
