Spectators: 6882 (Terracing: 5200, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 1) Avellaneda's Carmelo Oalo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Baldomero Goi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Avellaneda's Hilario Jaen got a free kick in the 5th minute. When Baldomero Goi came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Soconcho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baldomero Goi couldn't finish the play. Gonzalo Laurin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicanor Balasi having to interfere. Baldomero Goi might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nicanor Balasi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Baldomero Goi ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 13th minute Baldomero Goi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicanor Balasi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gonzalo Laurin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Nicanor Balasi made a huge save. Gonzalo Laurins short, quick shot in the 22ndth minute got Nicanor Balasi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 26th minute, Baldomero Goi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Avellaneda's Nicanor Balasi got control of the ball when Gonzalo Laurin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hilario Jaen hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Hilario Jaen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Martin Alfonso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Baldomero Goi was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Victorio Ixidor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Alfonso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baldomero Goi in the 82nd minute of play forced Avellaneda's goalkeeper Nicanor Balasi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Baldomero Goi came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Soconcho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baldomero Goi couldn't finish the play. Martin Alfonso made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Victorio Ixidor sent off a good shot on target.
