An unexpectedly hard shot by Albano Mederi in the 22nd minute of play forced Campanas FC's goalkeeper Filomeno Ondino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Rogelio Gaxan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Piñalitos's Ermegildo Maties played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mateo Fernendo in the 28th minute of play.
