Julio Serafo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simon Maurino in the 4th minute of play. 14 minutes into the game, Serafin Muno was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Piñalitos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caballa the free kick. After 14 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Piñalitos! Ermegildo Maties made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ezequiel Cordaro in the 29th minute of play. After 29 minutes, Narciso Igon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Piñalitos and the Caballa players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Caballa booed when Piñalitos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Narciso Igon didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th minute, Alfonso Abeita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ermegildo Maties was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. 36 minutes into the game, Caballa's Ezequiel Cordaro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ermegildo Maties made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. In the 44th minute, Albano Mederi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Albano Mederi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Julio Serafo made a huge save.

Ermegildo Maties made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfonso Abeita in the 54th minute. 57 minutes into the game, Caballa's Ezequiel Cordaro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ermegildo Maties made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. In the 61st minute, Ezequiel Cordaro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 64th minute, Narciso Igon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 65 played minutes, Caballa's Victoriano Lano shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ermegildo Maties came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Caballa reached it. The crowd rose to their feet as Ezequiel Cordaro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ermegildo Maties. That made the score 0-6 in the 69 minute of play. Albano Mederi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Piñalitos's Ermegildo Maties got control of the ball when Ezequiel Cordaro tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 79 played minutes Piñalitos got a freekick which was hit by Eustacio Canor. 81 minutes into the match, Piñalitos's goalkeeper Ermegildo Maties had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ezequiel Cordaro. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Modesto Cuarto during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 84th match minute, Caballa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Modesto Cuarto to maneuver through the defense. Alfonso Abeita was extremely unlucky when he, in the 86th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Ezequiel Cordaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amancio Francho's late challenge caught a Piñalitos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amancio Francho helped the player get up and apologised. Ermegildo Maties made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Ezequiel Cordaro sent off a good shot on target. Ezequiel Cordaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Ermegildo Maties tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Caballa eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
