Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 12th minute, Marcial Gergori got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 19 minutes into the game, Maximo Joanes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Perdriel's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Morenillo FC the free kick. Maximo Joanes hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute Marcial Gergori shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saturnino Peter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angel Lixandro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cesar Fonso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Morenillo FC's Marcial Gergori got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Angel Lixandro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesar Fonso having to interfere. Angel Lixandro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Ubaldo Gasteiz fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Perdriel's protests and gave Ubaldo Gasteiz a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Perdriel's Ubaldo Gasteiz got a free kick in the 41st minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hermengildo Cordara made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Perdriel's goal looked a bit too open when Hermengildo Cordara came free, but Saturnino Peter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcial Gergori fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saturnino Peter having to interfere. The Perdriel fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Cesar Fonso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacobo Cuartio in the 70th minute of the match. In the 73rd minute Hermengildo Cordara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saturnino Peter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Perdriel's Angel Lixandro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cesar Fonso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 81 played minutes Perdriel got a freekick which was hit by Angel Lixandro. Marcial Gergoris short, quick shot in the 83rdth minute got Saturnino Peter to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Perdriel booed when Morenillo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Everardo Bihar didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 89 minutes, Jacobo Cuartio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Perdriel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacobo Cuartio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 90th minute, Abelardo Weather hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angel Lixandro in the 91st minute of play forced Morenillo FC's goalkeeper Cesar Fonso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcial Gergori could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Saturnino Peter made a huge save. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Perdriel fans cheered their team off the field, for while Morenillo FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
