Ernestina's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Antaje the free kick. In the 13th match minute, Ernestina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anastasio Dominguez to maneuver through the defense. Braulio Cesaro struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Reynaldo Hever didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Antaje. An unexpectedly hard shot by Braulio Cesaro in the 19th minute of play forced Ernestina's goalkeeper Reynaldo Hever to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 19 played minutes Antaje got a freekick which was hit by Guido Resto. Horacio Liberto struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Marcelo Cordera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ernestina. 23 minutes into the match, Ernestina's Pascual Santana sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcelo Cordera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 25 minutes into the match, Antaje's goal looked a bit too open when Horacio Liberto came free, but Marcelo Cordera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcelo Cordera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pascual Santana in the 27th minute of the match. In the 31st match minute, Ernestina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cesar Aureo to maneuver through the defense. Marcelo Cordera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pascual Santana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Braulio Cesaro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Antaje's supporters rose to their feet, but Braulio Cesaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reynaldo Hever breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Ernestina's Anastasio Dominguez got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Pascual Santana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pascual Santana to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Braulio Cesaro in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Reynaldo Hever prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pascual Santana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Marcelo Cordera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 76 played minutes Antaje got a freekick which was hit by Amancio Mannuel. Guido Resto hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Antaje's Marcelo Cordera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Antaje from getting a goal against them. Pascual Santana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Cordera having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Pascual Santana fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Marcelo Cordera, passed just outside the right post. 91 minutes into the match, Antaje's goalkeeper Marcelo Cordera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Horacio Liberto. Thanks to some nice moves Horacio Liberto could shoot a difficult shot in the 96th minute, which Marcelo Cordera however easily saved by the left post. The supporters of Ernestina booed when Antaje was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amancio Mannuel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Pascual Santana managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ernestina's supporters rose to their feet, but Pascual Santana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelo Cordera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ernestina were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Antaje to leave the ground with a draw.
