Antonio Oidor started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Fks Universal getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Flavio Barrionuevo hit a great ball. Picapiedras FC's Octavio Senen couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 4th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Fks Universal. Fks Universal's Dante Celipe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Oidor in the 8th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Bernardo Paulin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Santo Lauaxeta was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Dante Celipe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonio Oidor, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 18th minute Antonio Oidor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Celipe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flavio Barrionuevo hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. The Fks Universal fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when Fks Universal's Santo Sidoro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Antonio Oidor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 30 played minutes Fks Universal got a freekick which was hit by Tadeo Errapel. Antonio Oidor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Picapiedras FC's Antonio Oidor slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dante Celipe. That made the score 1-2 after 33 minutes of play. Erubiel Cerilo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Celipe having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Antonio Oidor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dante Celipe was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Santo Sidoro to make the kick off. The supporters of Picapiedras FC booed when Fks Universal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tadeo Errapel didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santo Sidoro in the 63rd minute of play forced Picapiedras FC's goalkeeper Santo Lauaxeta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute Santo Sidoro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santo Lauaxeta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antonio Oidor scored 2-2 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dante Celipe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alfredo Herena could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Santo Lauaxeta made a huge save. Santo Sidoro was extremely unlucky when he, in the 76th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Erubiel Cerilo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Dante Celipe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 85 minutes, Alfredo Weterio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fks Universal and the Picapiedras FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Antonio Oidor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
