But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gervasio Ferran couldn't finish the play. In the 7th minute, Godfredo Feo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Esteve Nevada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 15 minutes into the game, Nicolas Lico was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Panqueua's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gerli Por Siempre the free kick. If Maximino Hernando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Gerli Por Siempre's zone, Esteve Nevada stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Justo Vargas came out of the goal and Esteve Nevada tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Esteve Nevada blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Justo Vargas having to make a save. In the 32nd minute Esteve Nevada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justo Vargas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Godfredo Feo in the 35th minute of play forced Gerli Por Siempre's goalkeeper Justo Vargas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Nicolas Lico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Esteve Nevada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justo Vargas having to interfere.

In the 52nd minute, Maximino Hernando got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Gerli Por Siempre's Justo Vargas got control of the ball when Esteve Nevada tried to sneak it across the goal line. Esteve Nevada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Gerli Por Siempre's zone, Nicolas Lico stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Justo Vargas came out of the goal and Nicolas Lico tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Esteve Nevada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Justo Vargas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Esteve Nevada during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nestor Handi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gervasio Ferran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celestino Nafarroa having to interfere. After 76 played minutes Panqueua got a freekick which was hit by Maximino Hernando. In the 79th minute, Gervasio Ferran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Maximino Hernando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute, Gerli Por Siempre's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Nicolas Lico fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Maximino Hernando was extremely unlucky when he, in the 85th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Panqueua's Nicolas Lico got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Justo Vargas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maximino Hernando in the 90th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Panqueua's Maximino Hernando slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Justo Vargas. That made the score 0-1 after 90 minutes of play. A nice corner shot did that Timoteo Peruanton got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Justo Vargas quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the match was over Panqueua could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Gerli Por Siempre throughout the match.
