Albino Arias's late challenge caught a Funes FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albino Arias helped the player get up and apologised. Albino Arias kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. If Jairo Urbasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 23rd minute of the match, Jairo Urbasa tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pascual Felipillo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 26 minutes into the match, Jairo Urbasa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pascual Felipillo, 2-0. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Jairo Urbasa took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Pascual Felipillo to make any attempt to save it. In the 40th minute, Jairo Urbasa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Erasmo Fernendo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pascual Felipillo having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

JVMFC's Pascual Felipillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jairo Urbasa in the 53rd minute of play. Funes FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Uriel Berenguer in the 55th minute. After taking down the ball on Funes FC's corner Uriel Berenguer fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Pascual Felipillo quite easily take care of the ball. A collision led to Funes FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Alonzo Felipillo hit a great ball. In the 58th minute, Albino Arias fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Jairo Urbasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicasio Tiso hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Pascual Felipillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jairo Urbasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Erasmo Fernendo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pascual Felipillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jairo Urbasa in the 80th minute of the match. Erasmo Fernendo scored 4-0 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pascual Felipillo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Erasmo Fernendo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pascual Felipillo having to interfere. Pascual Felipillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erasmo Fernendo in the 90th minute of the match. In the 91stth minute of the game Jairo Urbasa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but JVMFC's Pascual Felipillo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Funes FC booed when JVMFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicasio Tiso didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Funes FC had played much better football throughout.
