After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Roberto Normando managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guzmán AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Roberto Normando was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulino Joachim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. Omar Vachon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Feliberto Santikurtz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulino Joachim having to interfere. If Feliberto Santikurtz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Feliberto Santikurtz was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 67th minute. Guzmán AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Amadeo Tolino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celedonio Leizarraga in the 68th minute of play. Amadeo Tolino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omar Vachon in the 69th minute of the match. Guzmán AFC's Amadeo Tolino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celedonio Leizarraga in the 71st minute of play.
