Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Nahueve's Aurelio Lugo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Arnaldo Arias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 7thth minute of the game Aurelio Lugo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Salto FC's Edelmiro Faron was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aurelio Lugo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Edelmiro Faron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After recieving a nice pass, Nahueve's Froilan Tiadoro tried to score from far away in the 12th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Artemio Cordarrell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Artemio Cordarrell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edelmiro Faron having to interfere. Arnaldo Arias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Marcial Gau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. David Turi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcial Gau having to interfere. Nahueve's Aurelio Lugo got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Artemio Cordarrell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Edelmiro Faron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Artemio Cordarrell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. David Turi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcial Gau having to interfere. When Arnaldo Arias fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Salto FC's protests and gave Arnaldo Arias a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Salto FC's Arnaldo Arias got a free kick in the 44th minute. Marcial Gau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnaldo Arias, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. In the 47th match minute, Nahueve was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaston Guillelme to maneuver through the defense. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell David Turi to make the kick off. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Nahueve reached it. 70 minutes into the game, Marcelo Rius was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nahueve's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Salto FC the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Nahueve fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 70th minute. Penalty! Jonathan Ihazintu shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. The supporters of Salto FC booed when Nahueve was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Lauaxeta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnaldo Arias hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 79th match minute, Nahueve was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaston Guillelme to maneuver through the defense. Artemio Cordarrell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Aurelio Lugo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mario Ariando kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Evelio Abascal hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. When Artemio Cordarrell came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Nahueve fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Artemio Cordarrell couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurelio Lugo in the 90th minute of play forced Salto FC's goalkeeper Edelmiro Faron to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Artemio Cordarrell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcial Gau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Turi, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
