The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 12 played minutes Dynamo FC got a freekick which was hit by Enrique Maraman. After a rather tough play, Independiente's Isidro Salbatore got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 14th minute, Isidro Salbatore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anastasio Felipo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Isidro Maureo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the Independiente defense, Eliseo Pueblo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benigno Fagondo. The Independiente fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benigno Fagondo should have stopped the shot. Urbano Orlan kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Benigno Fagondo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anastasio Felipo, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 32 minutes into the game, Eulalio Maju recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Teobaldo Caetano. Eulalio Maju showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. If Isidro Salbatore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Isidro Maureo made the kick off in the second half. Dynamo FC's Anastasio Felipo got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Isidro Maureo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Benigno Fagondo came out and tried to block the shot, but Isidro Maureo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 53rd minute. After some careless play in the Independiente defense, Anastasio Felipo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benigno Fagondo. The Independiente fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benigno Fagondo should have stopped the shot. Anastasio Felipo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Benigno Fagondo made a huge save. Anastasio Felipo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eusebio Lidon kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Anastasio Felipo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 90 minutes into the match, Independiente's goalkeeper Benigno Fagondo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anastasio Felipo. Dynamo FC played a much better game than Independiente and deserved their victory. The Independiente players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
