After 18 played minutes RacingClub got a freekick which was hit by Ezequiel Lopes. Celestino Paulin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Laureano Bordat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ezequiel Lopes, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ezequiel Lopes to make the kick off. Dragones F.C.'s Laureano Bordat proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Dragones F.C. from getting a goal against them. Dragones F.C.'s Vinicio Dominguez got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 79th match minute, Dragones F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomás Atauri to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ezequiel Lopes in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Laureano Bordat prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ezequiel Lopes struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Laureano Bordat didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RacingClub. If Ezequiel Lopes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
