In the 26th minute, Ignacio Feliu made a precise shot to the right of Feliciano Aurken. Favorina AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Siro Meder got free with Feliciano Aurken in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Puesto Viejo FC defense, Jesus Mendebal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Moises Urtun. The Puesto Viejo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Moises Urtun should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Jesus Mendebal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Favorina AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jesus Mendebal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Moises Urtun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Bautista stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ignacio Feliu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliciano Aurken having to interfere. Feliciano Aurken showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Bautista, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Puesto Viejo FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Favorina AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
