If Abel Quiroga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 20 minutes into the match, Club At. San Lorenzo's goal looked a bit too open when Segundo Artizar came free, but Norberto Xabier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute, Lobos FC's Segundo Artizar ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Norberto Xabier. Norberto Xabier yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 28th minute Abel Quiroga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norberto Xabier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34thth minute of the game Segundo Artizar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club At. San Lorenzo's Norberto Xabier was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Club At. San Lorenzo's zone, Segundo Artizar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Norberto Xabier came out of the goal and Segundo Artizar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sixto Reno was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Abel Quiroga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Norberto Xabier was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 61 minutes, Segundo Artizar made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Club At. San Lorenzo's Norberto Xabier tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 70th minute, Segundo Artizar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Norberto Xabier was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Quiroga in the 75th minute of play forced Club At. San Lorenzo's goalkeeper Norberto Xabier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Club At. San Lorenzo's Norberto Xabier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Segundo Artizar in the 80th minute of play. Abel Quiroga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Norberto Xabier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Segundo Artizar in the 83rd minute of the match. If Segundo Artizar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Siro Toli's late challenge caught a Lobos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Siro Toli helped the player get up and apologised. Siro Toli hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Segundo Artizar put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Norberto Xabier. Segundo Artizar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Norberto Xabier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Lobos FC fully deserved thier win.
